Our regular meeting - basically a monthly PHP PubCon - which is held on the first Thursday of every month.
Meet PHP users, professional developers and recruiters near you! Come to PHP London's April 2005 meeting to exchange ideas and talk about code, architecture, innovation, and open source in general. Anyone interested in PHP is welcome!

Feel free to add your name if you're coming! Everyone who does so, links to their wiki profile page (copy the coding format of other names on the list - if it is displayed in red then you've not linked to a page that exists), and actually attends, will be entered in a random draw for a prize of £10 of drinks/food from the venue (started June 2009, still popular in summer 2010...).

Agenda
7.30pm: Review of new venue (thanks to David Heath for organising this).
8pm: mini-demo of a code generation tool I've been messing about with lately; followed by live refactoring (of my current dodge code ;) ) - having the projector available makes this potentially feasible/useful. --Jon Ramsey
Could someone who is able to bring a laptop along to the meetup tonight please download the stuff for my demo onto your machine. Thanks --Jon Ramsey
Downloaded on the laptop, hopefully someone else will download a copy, just in case. --Ketan Majmudar
Later discussions for those interested...
- Spamproof Wiki so that the project can make progress. If someone can have that installed on a Laptop we may be able to do enough refactoring to get the code and tests portable. --Marcus Baker
- Radek is researching the possibilitiy of a UK PHP Conference 2005 in London, would be great to hear about it --David Heath
- I'd like to see some discussion of Ruby on Rails/equivalent PHP stacks, anyone? --Jon Ramsey
- I found the SimpleTest talk last month really useful, and wouldn't mind chatting about its expanded use in testing --Ketan Majmudar
Meeting date
This meeting will remain on Thursday 7th.
We've decided it's too short notice to change the date to Tuesday at this point. Apologies for any confusion. --David Heath
Off-topic : I'll be in London next month, and would love to attend the first Thursday meeting in May. Could you please wait for another month before switching to Tuesdays ;-) --Perrick Penet
