Opinion
Ample space and well geared towards presentations, but could be a bit formal for the rest of the meeting. No private bar but there were coffee facilities, a dumb waiter, and separate toilets for the function room. Also the pub wasn't too busy when I visited (on a Thursday evening).
The landlady was worried that we wouldn't spend enough and she sometimes has requests for comedy nights on Thursdays which would be more profitable. However we might be able to negotiate a higher deposit in return for guaranteed use of the room on first Thursdays.
