Plans for the 2009 Conference

As we don't have an individual Conference Organiser this year we'll be splitting the organisation of the conference into smaller roles. If you'd like to help, please add your name to the list below ('~~~' autofills with your name).

If I (Matt) have added your name for you, it's because I remember having a chat with you about it where you offered to help. Sometimes my memory isn't all that. Just remove your name if you didn't offer to help. :)

Marcus Baker, as PHP London president, will find/pick/liase with speakers
Dave Nattriss, as PHP London webmaster, will create and maintain the conference website and online registration system
Richard George, as PHP London treasurer, will handle payments and invoicing
Matt Raines, as PHP London secretary, will oversee venue, meal and accommodation bookings and will find/pick/liase with sponsors
Franck Cassedanne would like to help find a caterer
Sami Greenbury
Patrick Schneider
Lorna Mitchell will help with anything that can be done remotely
Sam Bell would like to help out with the website

We have now booked the Olympia Conference Centre for Friday February 27th 2009.

Dave has set up the conference website using Acquia Drupal and has issued a call for papers.

We'll be hosting the event at Olympia on 27 February 2009.

Olympia (W14) Conference Centre:
- seats: 449
- 1 or 2 breakout rooms (additional cost: £1,500 each ex. VAT)
- cost: £65 per delegate including catering (ex. VAT)
